The service at the front office is...
The service at the front office is absolutely appaling. When I inquired about the safe deposit boxes, the guy at the counter gave me an unpleasant face and ignored me. It was only when I repeatedly asked, he got up and led me to the safe deposit room without saying a word! I would suggest that the service at this hotel be improved or else there will not be anymore repeated stayers at the hotel. Despite this major shortcoming, I must applaud the chief security of the hotel who had surprisingly recognised us outside and provided us helpful tips and directions. On the overall, its an OK hotel with basic facilities and centralised localtion if one chose to ignore the horrible service staff.

The additional pillows in the cupboard do...
The additional pillows in the cupboard do not have any pillow covers. The breakfast selection is limited. They should provide more weighting machine as it is difficult to get one. Hotel staff are in general friendly.

I stayed in the tower wing. Room...
I stayed in the tower wing. Room is quite clean but breakfast is so so. Location is not bad, will consider staying in this hotel for my next trip.

Affordable and good room, with easy access...
Affordable and good room, with easy access to everything from Pratunam Market, Pantip Plaza to Central World Plaza. I will surely will stay there the next time I visit Bangkok.

Overall it was alright, But the Hotel Taxi...
Overall it was alright, But the Hotel Taxi is a giving the Hotel a very Bad Name. Also, I asked specifically for a queen size (Big)bed But I was given 2 single bed on the 1st Ngt without being informed when I checked in. The Braskfast was ok but it isn't properly heated. The room is ok but the toilet bowl was a little low. Location is Good and within walking distance to World Trade Centre, Big C, and Pratunam wholesale areas. Very Good service, Reliable, Cheap and Shiok Massage along the Pratunam Centre Stretch, esp M@B which has a very beach atmosphere to it.

Hotel First generally ok, you get what you paid for, what you expect! Ask for a higher floor as i got 3rd floor and practically slept by the roadside, if you know what i mean...Bed was too soft though, i practically sank into it. Didn't get any good sleep at all. Its consolation is that its walking distance to Pratunam market and Indra Square, shopping for clothes. Panthip Plaza for IT stuff. Sky Train, expect to walk a distance to Rachetweri... If you want value for money, First Hotel is the one!!!

Very disappointing even taking into account the...
Very disappointing even taking into account the low price. Stayed only one night in the main wing (thankfully!) and I must've killed about 8 cockroaches. And thats not counting the ones I didn't meet. Front desk was extremely reticent to accede to my reuqest for queen bed altho i had earlier asked in my booking. Furthermore note there is a 1000 Baht 'deposit' for your key, hardly seems necessary since they have your card details. Very inconvenient if not cash in hand...

Stayed in the main wing (old wing)...
Stayed in the main wing (old wing) and my experience with the hotel was horrendous!! The rooms that we were first provided with were already occupied...by a family of cockroaches. Whats more? the toilets are really worn down and not forgetting the extremly lousy service that we were provided by the midnight front desk staff. A complain was made to them about our two rooms and we requested a change. However, we were told that the hotel was overbooked and they will send their men to go up to make a check. After a check was made, we were provided with rooms HOWEVER, without keys! and when we opened the door(with the assistance of a staff), the room was in terrible condition just like everything had just been ransacked. In the end rooms were changed again and we had no choice but to comply with them (as it was 2am in the morning). Front desk service was just gibberish! we changed our rooms four times when they said that the hotel was full! This hotel is definitely a no-go!

Hotel location is not too bad but the front desk in mass, front desk staff need to be put in training programe of just satisfaction system and how to deal with guests they also need to learn to be more helpful also asking too much for deposits for any free service like safe deposit or room keys plus no available safe deposits on request, rooms need more care from hotel management as bathrooms and toilets in the rooms need urgent Renovation and the public toilet in the lobby is very dirty and disgusted. Value for money for its location. Buffet...
Value for money for its location. Buffet breakfast is nice, with selection of cereals and yogurt etc. Suggests that they replenish the item more often the trays are usually left empty for quite awhile. Staff generally polite with the exception of one lady staff. Also, the frontline reception service could be better. Room cleanliness average. One minus point is that the pool water is filled with mosquito larvae. Will consider staying at the First hotel again next time.
