My stay was a presence one. The location was very good, and the room rates are of no complains. Bed and toilet are so so only.... No free mineral water... You got to pay $35Baht for one. The lobby just newly renovated and looks good, but when you reach the room, you will be disappointed. Too drastic change of environment. Hahaha.... But really a good place for budget travellers. Cheers!

First of all let me say this hotel is going through renovation, Asiarooms must mention this on the website. We booked 4 rooms at this place for 5 nights upon our return from Hong Kong where our hotel experience was fabulous, but this hotel was a complete disappointment. The rooms had no windows, only brick wall when you open it. The smell in room is unbearable and the staff is the worst that i have ever seen in a hotel. The housekeeper start yelling when i asked her to clean the room after 1 hour. They also charged us for a broken glass upon checkout mentioning that we broke it during our stay ( we never knew about it ). I was appalled to see that they didn't even thought that we are staying there for 5 nights and with 4 rooms so such small things should never be taken into consideration. Stay at PJ watergate which is nearby, almost 3 times better then this crap hotel and for 32 dollar per night its very reasonable.

First House Hotel in the Pratunam area,...
First House Hotel in the Pratunam area, offers an ideal location to many of the mega shopping malls in Bangkok city and is within walking distance to Central World, the largest shopping complex in S.E.A., Big "C" supermart, Gaysorn shopping mall and the famous Erawan Four Faced Buddha shrine. Chitlom BTS is a stone's throw away from the shrine.The hotel staffers at the front desk were cheerful, helpful and courteous while the housekeeping staffers were efficient and reliable. The room that I stayed was clean,tidy and comfortable. All amenities such as the the hot water shower, lightings and airconditioning system were functiong good. The buffet breakfast was substantial, with limited choices of western and local spread. I must remark that my four day stay at First House Hotel was more than satisfactory. Overall, it's excellent value for mnoney, and certainly would choose to stay here again.

Overall nice place to stay. Very convenience to go shopping. Would like to stay there again in future. But one thing is the rooms didn't provided any plug to plug in hair dryer and battery charger for handphone.

when made the booking i asked for late check out,because my flight is at 9.30 pm,but they charged me 600 baht till 6.00pm.they is no massage center,previous time when visited there was.

I have used this hotel many times...
I have used this hotel many times and on this occasion there was extensive renovation work being undertaken. Whilst no noise could be heard in the room the reception area was a disaster. My biggest complaint was that we were put in a smoking room when specifically asking for a non-smoking room. It was like sleeping in an ashtray. The room had been cleaned and deodorised with some perfume that irritated the throat and nose making it difficult to sleep. We were at the end of our journey and simply wanted to sleep so didn't have the energy to change rooms. It was only during the night that I noticed an upleasant ashtray smell coming from the mattress every timed I moved. It was simply depressing and an unpleasant end to a fantastic journey. That's disappointing really when all it requires is a bit of service from the very disinterested staff. It probably results from long hours on poor pay and constant abuse from guests about dirty rooms. I didn't want to add to their misery. The location is fantastic for shopping and food but I think an upgrade to Amari Watergate is required next time. Low price = low quality all round..sorry.
