Odors from the streets fill the corridors...
Odors from the streets fill the corridors and even the room. Lighting in the room was too dim, making the room look and feel creepy. Breakfast was just bad, street food available just outside was much better. Staff service is okay, but comprehension of English is very low. Half the time, they can't understand what I'm saying and vice versa. Very huge communication problem.

just stayed at this hotel in Jan...
just stayed at this hotel in Jan 2008. Overall good value, recommended for budget travellers, as facilities/service/size of room are fairly ok, located near some wholesale markets. However, a little further from the mrt than i had tot(abt ten min), and not along the main street(gotta walk into a side street and past abt 500m before reaching the hotel, which is smaller than i tot) so may not be as safe if returning late. The interesting thing is that on most nights, there'll be a big screen at the other side of road directly opposite the hotel entrance with the locals gathered to watch movie screenings - plus point is that it's not as quiet and dangerous at night, negative point is that it's noisy at night, if u sleep before 12. TV reception not good for star movies, but has HBO. TV size is small for the normal rooms. Also, not all the levels, though most levels, are lift landing. The breakfast range is small, and not much change from day to day, good for vegetarians in the sense that they have one vegetarian fried rice dish daily at least. Lastly, the taxi service just outside the hotel seems to be linked to the hotel, and provides trips to various attractions with fixed prices stated on their boards, but i dunno if it'll cost less if one is to walk out to the main road to get a cab. Overall ok stay, good value, but will prob stay nearer to the mrt next time.

This hotel is near to the pratunum market and is near to the pratunam IT mall. However, you have to go into a street to find this hotel. The room and the bathroom is so so..Overall, good if you have no expectation at all..

i tell u the pros n cons. location...
i tell u the pros n cons. location is super , just walk out of the hotel & u enter the endless lanes of shopping and street side hawker. it is also short work to the bigger shopping malls. location and price wise, very good ! the downstair is the room. the gap below the door is huge and the door dont looked very stable, i placed a chair behind it at night. aircon is noisy & we have sound of water running thru the pipes the whole night. toilet door cant close, toilet door leaks when someone upstair shower. there is no electric plug for u to use, if really need u have to use the tv or the fridge. the hotel look like its in the 80's , but service is great : )

It is totally different from what it...
It is totally different from what it is portrayed, we were devastated to see the run down state of the hotel when we reached there, thinking that the cab driver has dropped us at the wrong hotel. The door lock is spoilt, the shower doesn't work and the water of the 'shower' comes out directly from the tap! The carpet or should i say the room smells of some traditional medicine, smells like you are staying in a hospital. The only thing we like about the hotel is the location, other than that, i think the hotel is kinda over-priced.

In general, it was a comfortable place...
In general, it was a comfortable place to sleep and relax, although not the ideal hotel for staying in all day... The rooms we got didn't have windows (GREAT! for sleeping in, not so great if you want to wake up early)... I didn't really like were the 1000 baht deposit, considering that since I'm there to shop and spend, having almost S$50 tied up when it could be spent on shopping wasn't very palatable... Also, they had weird signs, like "Do not ...: charge 5000 baht"... It was quite a put-off... Nonetheless, if you're looking for a good night's sleep close to the shopping belt and you're on a budget, this is the place to be...

I had stayed here several times this...
I had stayed here several times this year 2007. The room is clean and budgeted. The location is fantastic, with the pratunam market just around the corner. Street food around the hotel, my personal favourite is the wanton noodles at the start of the Soi 19, their pork knuckles rice is one of the best in Thailand. I would strongly recommend for shoppers and budgeted travellers. As for myself, I am strictly attracted by the location and food. Also, around the corner - there's a plaza (whole-selling), on its top floor a Spa and Massage named "Siam Health" - definitely worth trying them. Daniel - Singapore World Traveller
