As a retailer in sg , I need to shop for clothes and stuff for my shop but I dont need to buy alot only a few pieces of each and they must be cheap. Pratunam is the best area to get them and First House is the nearest accomodation that caters to my accomodation and budget needs.

We always stay at this hotel for the following reasons :
- Excellent location for shopaholics - first class - local to Platinum Mall, Pratunam Mall, Big C Mall, Pratunam day and night markets.
- MBK Mall 20 mins walk
- MRT stations within 10 mins walk
- Original part of hotel has big rooms
- Clean
- Staff very friendly

Well the location is pretty hard to...
Well the location is pretty hard to find and sometimes the taxi driver will mixed up with the first hotel which is nearby located on the main road. Although I show the driver the address written in thai but they still get to the wrong place. Luckily I did some research b4 going to bangkok. The location need to pass thru a small alley n quite deep in . Its like about 5 mins walk to the main road. The alley leading to hotel is quite dark and I feel unsafe walking by each time.
The recep there is frenly and willing to help out. The room is spacious ,(superior room) but there is smell coming out from the bathroom. I thnk it is because the bath room don have ventilation fan but my fren didnt find any smells at all. Maybe jst my room .
If you travel by taxi , only cost 35bath to MBK ...its quite centre of the bangkok. I have prob of telling taxi driver first house hotel but all of them know first hotel. First hotel quite near first house hotel so my resort is to ask driver drive to 1st hotel thn guide thm from there back to hotel. ...breakfast is normal one ...bread and noodles and rice.

We never actually rebooked for our second part of our stay in Bangkok as we found our first stay traumatic enough. The only positive thing I can say about htis hotel is they will keep your luggage while you go away providing of course you are returning to stay in the hotel. We found this hotel to be dirty smelly and in need of a general overhaul.

Location was fantastic! Wholesale everywhere around the hotel, less than 5mins walk to Platinum Fashion Mall. BTW, it ain't 10mins walk to MBK, it's 10mins walk to WTC. Room size ok, toilet's small but still functional, only thing that tortures me bad was their bed! Bed was really stiff, in another word, hard! Woke up every morning with stiff back. If you're not particular about the bed you sleep on, can consider this hotel. If not, don't bother.
