Fantastic location; just beside The Platinum Warehouse Mall and walking distance to MBK, Paragon and other major malls. Rooms are ok. The only bad point is the service. They don't really talk or interact much with you. They just do their job.

Although got a bad experience on the air-con leaking water due to poor maintenance. This only happened after i had stayed 5 times in this hotel. Overall, it's location is better with new shopping center (platimum) just beside it, where you can find all the fashion clothes.

Location was not bad as plantinum is right beside the hotel. The room size is acceptable for a suite. Other than the building was abit old but everything was fine. We indeed had a pleasant stay in the hotel. Thank you.

Except for the location, this hotel is not a good choice at all. It's old, small, dirty, grimey, and to top it all, has disinterested service staff. The Junior Suite is not adequate with no separate shower as promised. The breakfast, so much raved in most forums, was so-so as really, many many other hotels have similar offerings. Yes, the price paid was low and I should not complain, but still, there are so many other choices in Bangkok, no need for me to pay money to suffer, no? In fact, my female travel mate cried when she saw the room... it's THAT bad...

Will probably not choose Grand Diamond suites again.
1)Room carpets looks dirty and have multiple stain marks on them,so is the sofa in the living room.
2)Bedroom lightning is dim as room is lilted with lights from the dressing table and bed left and right lamp.
3)Tv in living room & bedroom is small and old. Stereo system in living room is old and plays only Fm/Am,Cd and Vcd.
4)Internet. Rates are expensive and connection are slow.
5)Breakfast. Have a wide spread to eat from. Western to oriental.
Advise not to wear a fresh set of clothing as after breakfast your cloths will smells.
6)Room chambermaid is friendly and never fail to greet you.
7)Always be caught in a traffic jam to and fro from hotel during the day. Advise to take a tuk tuk instead.

Grand diamond is the worth staying, their staffs seem fine to me... their service also not bad.
I like their breakfast but eating the same food for 5 day is a bit boring.....;p
Their Hotel is near to shopping centres and wholesale market.. just walking distance only.. overrall not bad lah.....
Remember to call their room service... their food is nice and worth the price
