This is my first time to Indra...
This is my first time to Indra after twice stayed at both Eastin and Baiyoke Sky. Overall the location for this hotel is great though the view from Hotel room is not as good as Baiyoke or front rooms of Eastin. I stayed for 2 night, the second morning, I have to find my own breakfast at the alley nearby the hotel cos the hotel breakfast spread at the open air garden terrace was terrible compare to both Eastin and Baiyoke Sky. Thank God, that I found a chinese stall selling nice duck meat noodle which is far better than the hotel breakfast spread near Baiyoke Sky.
The bathtub is small and filmsy, made of some sort of plastic. So if you are heavy in weight, do becareful when you step into it for a shower.
The positive side is the staffs there are relatively helpful and friendly. Street food are ample especially at night along the alley near Baiyoke Sky. As usual, try to hire a cab or tuk-tuk away from the hotel. If you are travelling in group of more than 5 persons and need 2 tuk-tuk to move about, let the first convoy move away first before hiring another. Split into few groups and act as if you are stranger to one another while flagging a tuk-tuk. Never ask the tuk-tuk driver to follow the one in front. If they know you know each other and travelling in group, the tuk-tuk driver will conspire with one another along the way and proposed so funny plan or change their charges for you in middle of somewhere along the way. Worst, if you don't agree with their price, they will abondoned you halfway, even the initial fare had been agreed upon. So, be wise to travel separately. Never let the tuk-tuk driver have the opportunity to communicate with one another along the way with your friends who are in another tuk-tuk.
Overall, I will definitely go back to Eastin when they are back in operation after the renovation or else I will pay slightly higher to stay at Baiyoke Sky.
