I have stayed at this hotel many times over the last ten years and love the location. However, as well maintained as it is, it seems nothing has been replaced and the place is feeling worn.
Just a few simple things would change the feel of the rooms. Some newer, fresher designed bedspreads and/or carpeting, and a flatscreened, decent sized television would be a vast improvement. I wanted to watch an important sporting event and had to sit at the foot of the bed because the televisions look to be medium low quality, about ten years old, and quite small.
There is just no excuse to not update this well located hotel with great people who work there. It is a waste of a former gem in one of the great Sukhumvit locations.
For $20 per day more, you can do a lot better close by. It's too bad because I really want to love the Landmark like I used to.
