I was travelling with my fiancee and...
I was travelling with my fiancee and made the booking myself so I was quite nervous!. It is the first of us in NYC. I loved the location, which is center of Bangkok. We can walk to the sky train just only 10 min but we prefer to hire a taxi because it is a very convenient and cheap. The hotel is also nicely located to walk to entertainment area. I know my fiancee would have preferred something a bit closer to downtown for shopping action, but I was happy. The room is enough for us, air-conditioned and reasonable with the price. The Hotel staffs are nice.

I stayed at this hotel for one month during a working trip to Bangkok. I selected here because of the excellence location and lovely price. I could walk safety to the Sky Train Station only 10 min. Rooms were basic but very clean with breakfast. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. Good location, close to Sky train and bus stop. Staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. Ideal if you are looking for somewhere to rest your head at night. It is a very good one. I already feel it at home.
Tip: I booked with this website I was a very good deal about 50% discount with breakfast
You will not get everything you want...
You will not get everything you want *** but you will get everything you need. The location is fantastic. And the price of the rooms is great, especially for the location. We have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the past couple of months, and both times have been all right. I have stayed at other hotels on for double and triple the price of the Manhattan, and the rooms at the other hotels were not as big as the Manhattan. The hotel may not be decorated in the most tasteful way, and may not have every amenity, but if you need a place to sleep, and you don't want to spend a lot of money the Manhattan is the best choice in Heart of The City.

Service and food is good with convenient location. Lobby gives me a good image but the interior is fair. Bathroom is little old and pls renovate. Anyway it is a good choice with this price.

The hotel is good, But due to the construction activity near the hotel, it does irritate. otherwise the hotel is very convinently located. The breakfast is ok, but could be improved. Hotel staff are good & responsive

This hotel has a great location -- and if you're just looking for a place to spend the night, since you're walking around Bangkok the whole day anyway, then what else do you need! It's a short pleasant walk from the Nana and Asoke Skytrain stations, good restaurants, and malls. The large in-room safe is great. And I really appreciated that they let me leave my stuff while I was visiting Siem Reap and Chiang Mai, on days I wasn't checked in. The staff is friendly and helpful too. Except for the breakfasts which have the same menu every day, I would recommend a stay at the Manhattan while in Bangkok.
