After our 3 night stay at the...
After our 3 night stay at the beginning of our 4-week trip, we quickly decided to book our final night of our vacation at the Marriott too. The boat shuttle over the river to the BKK Skytrain and rivershuttle boats is a great service, and besides the fact it's eco-friendlier, by taking the Skytrain downtown takes away quite a lot of stress of taking a Taxi-"Meter". Spending time around the pool made you feel like you weren't amidst the BKK bustle. Great service overall by a well trained staff and great interior design! Certainly a place to stay if you're a dedicated chocolate lover, as the hotel cafe has great food and coffee. After all the chocolate the gym turned out to be of good value too!

We absolutely loved this hotel. The location was a real plus, it was great to go on the hotel ferry back to the hotel, it was like going back to our own little haven. The service was impeccable very friendly, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful and hot. The Numero Uno chocolate cafe is a must if you are a chocoholic. Overall really lovely stay would stay there every time if possible.

I enjoyed this hotel. I've got a...
I enjoyed this hotel. I've got a connecting room, but the view was very good, so it was OK. The room was excellent, the swimming pool and the breakfast buffet were also good. The one bad thing was a bathroom, which is relatively small.

We enjoyed staying in this hotel, ideally situated, away from the hustle & bustle of the city, like an oasis. The boat shuttles to BTS were excursions in itself. The welcoming cold scented towels were the highlight of the return trip to the hotel. The breakfast was excellent. We attended the BBQ evening with traditional dancing & had a meal in Trader's Vic both were excellent. The staff were very friendly. We have suggested the hotel to some friends for their trip next month

Very very kindly staff !! The junior...
Very very kindly staff !! The junior suits are very large and comfortable. The location is a bit far from downtown. Check-in and -out was very professional and unclomplicated.I think I would come again.

We stayed here on. 2 separate ocassions...
We stayed here on. 2 separate ocassions whilst on a brief visit to Thailand. On the first visit we had a standard room booked and received an upgrade to a junior suitem, the second time we already had the suite booked. The rooms were really good and in typical Marriott form the beds were really comfortable. Hotel facilities were very good with a varied choice of eating options at not bad prices, breakfast at The Market was fantastic. We also used the hotel limo service when we arrived in Bangkok(certainly made the arrival a lot easier although expect to pay more than 4 times the cost of a cab)and had a fantastic massage at the hotel spa before we left. Getting around is easy. We picked this hotel particularly due to its location. It really is out of the chaos of Bangkok and when you do want to go into the centre the complimentary river boat to the skytrain is a nice, quick and cheap way of doing it. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and next time we go back to Bangkok it's where we will be heading without a doubt.

As my first location in thailand this...
As my first location in thailand this hotel offered me sanctuary from the hustle and busy ways off bangkok, The free Boat service across to the railway service was perfect. the site of the hotel seem miles away from the real bangkok! but yet was not.

Excellent hotel. They did a wonderful job of creating a resort feel in the middle of the city. Service was excellent. Breakfast was good. Was in keeping with Marriott standards. Very clean, spacious rooms, two locations for happy hour, very friendly, warm staff, nice pool. Overall very happy. Only thing one should be aware of is that because of its location, the best way to get into the heart of the city is to take the free ferry that the hotel runs every 15 min. to the other side of the river bank. It takes you right to the light rail (sky train) system, which in my opinion is the very best way to get around Bangkok. Other option is taxi fromt the hotel, but drivers have a field day taking you in every which direction before getting you to your destination!!

This hotel has it all and in...
This hotel has it all and in a sense its slightly remote location is an advantage because this resort is like a idyllic retreat when Bangkok gets a little too much. It is real value for money too when you compare what you get for what you pay.
