The rooms are modern,spacious,quiet and clean. Nice view riverside, breakfast is superior( a lot of choices ) and most of all the staff is nice and friendly!! The location is a little bit out of the centre. We have really enjoyed are staying.

My wife and I were just taking...

My wife and I were just taking a 24 hour stop-over on our way to New Zealand. This hotel was an excellent choice enabling us to relax by the river. Hotel pool was also good as was the water taxi service to the local station. Public taxi both to and from the airport was easy using the new motorway and not expensive (less than Â£10) - journey took approx. 35 minutes. One word of caution - we asked at reception for a recommendion for a tailor who could make a jacket for my wife within the 24 hours of our stay. We were taken to a tailor by taxi at no cost to ourselves, but it proved to be a bit of a rip-off. I am sure cheaper tailors can be found at similar quality.

Excellent buffet breakfast! Convenient boat service up the river (where most of the temples are). Not a lot to do in the immediate area, but easy to travel around. Friendly staff.

We loved our stay at the Ramada...

We loved our stay at the Ramada Plaza Menam Riverside. The service was excellent and we had a great view from our room. The best part was the free boat ferry to central pier. I love being on the water and this service was excellent. Once at central pier we could then get the public ferry up the river (30 stops only cost 13 baht each) or the skytrain. The pool was lovely and breakfast was superb. They allowed us to use the hotel facilities after our checkout time because we had a late flight out. We were able to swim, shower, use lockers and the baggage storage etc. All complimentary - a great bonus when in such a hot city. You wont be disappointed with your stay here!
