Hotel was fantastic, service was equally great and location for our purposes was also great. Only downside is we ordered King Size Rooms with King Size beds and only received twin singles although we were charged for Kings.

Highly recommended as Buffet breakfast was absolutely wonderful and service was great. Location opposite Patpong was most convenient. However would advise all tourists to be aware of people stationed close to the entrance towards the main road as they are there to get you to go to the GEM Factories when they offer to get you a taxi or a tut tut for shopping.
My second visit to the MONTIEN was every bit as good as the first! A great place to stay in Bangkok, perfect location for nightlife, well-appointed rooms, great food and wonderful staff. The only thing missing in the room is tea/coffee making facilities.
I love staying here and would highly recommend it!
We had a really lovely time in Hotel Montien. The staff were really polite and very very helpful at all times, nothing was too much trouble and if we go back in the future we will not hesitate in staying there again. It was also very conveniently situated.

After 18 months of travelling, experiencing every thing from beach huts to 5star hotels, I can easily say that this hotel was BRILLIANT! Location, rooms and service was fantastic! We very much enjoyed out stay the the Montien Bangkok. The room was very nice and the hotel was situated in a very good location for local sightseeing. The breakfast was wonderful and the bell men were very helpful, especially in helping us store some luggage for a two day trip to the River Kwai area. The shuttle was very helpful in reaching the Central Pier, shopping and the Montien Riverside, where we stayed after the Kwai trip. The only negative was not having a tea pot to boil more water for consumption--the amount of free water was about one bottle short! Overall, can't wait to return!!
