This is a great Old hotel and I have stayed here for many years. It is slowly going down hill with the rooms in need of a ot of work and the bathrooms very old and not very clean. It is in a perfect location for the markets,trains and great shopping. A wonderful old hotel that has been let go.
It seems to be getrting cheaper so that is a bonus.
This was our second stay at this hotel. The service, facilities, amenities were excellent...again! The location is convenient. Our recommendation is given without reservation On a scale of 1 to 5, 5 being the highest, the Montien is an outstanding five
Very enjoyable stay in the good executive room I have been given. Very kind staff always ready to help guests. Good breakfast. Bathroom has standard size only but all in best hotel susual amenities are offered. Great location very close to the skytrain Sala Daeng-Silom St. station,making it easy to reach alla city's points of interest.
