From the outside the hotel doesn't look...
From the outside the hotel doesn't look very attractive but inside is quite pleasant and the ambience in the lobby is lively. The rooms are as you would expect from a 3 star property, clean with basic comfort and no frills. Standard rooms are carpeted and an extra bed will fit snuggly in the corner and the working vanity table has an internet port, but there's no safety box for this price. Superior rooms come with a little more appeal especially with the polished wooden floor. Families with little ones will have to settle for the existing bed as extra beds are not allowed to avoid damaging the floors, and unfortunately connecting rooms are not available. The bathroom space is well maximized and has separate shower stall and bathtub. The Thai Suite comes with a king size and a single bed and while space is in abundance the room is purely functional and without flair. Restaurant facilities are well provided and the lunch buffet at the coffee house is an inexpensive way to sample different Thai cuisine. As for recreational facilities the pool is too small for a 471-room hotel and it may be time to change some of the equipments in the fitness center. The location is not where all the action is, yet not too far from it either. For the mid range price the Narai does offer reasonable comforts.
