2nd time
This is my 2nd time staying with Narai. Each time, I am there, they said they cannot find my booking. Cannot understand why?
Efficient Management
Coming from Myanmar without email or mobile phone connectivity I was unable to confirm in advance but was expected and booking honoured at agreed rate.
I booked for 4 nights but only needed 3 nights the change causing no problem. A late check out for 1400 was given without fuss and we were given complimentary welcome drinks voucher for one of the bars. Good sized room for the money. Air conditioning noisy. Good sized pool. Decent gym. Old TV. Complimentary drinking water.
Hotel taxi arrangements expensive but relativley easy to negotiate better rates. Huge buffet for breakfast with wide choice of Asian and Western foods. It would be useful to have a quiet area as the dining room has dreadful piped music and this also competes with 2 or 3 large flat screen TVs.

You get what you pay for
Ok location, ok food, ok service. Don't expect too much, you get what u pay for.

Overall was okay except that the walls are too "thin". You can hear your neighbour talking.
friendly staff and okay room. found it conveniently located (5 minutes away from chon donsit sky train station and 10 minutes away from taxi boats). Extremely friendly and professional restaurant staff.
The Narai put us on a floor with renovation work going on, v strong paint fumes & loud banging early morning & evening. Took 3 complaints for them to move us... same problems after we moved rooms.. evenutually upgraded us... deluxe rooms much better (though expensive for room type)
No advertisements throughout hotel on these renovations.

Free wifi, amazing pizza's in pepperoni restaurant downstairs.. not cheap but worth it if you need a dose of western food!!
