Our stay at the Pathumwan Princess Hotel...
Our stay at the Pathumwan Princess Hotel was excellent. The restaurant by the swimming pool was a great way to end the day, and the buffet breakfasts and evening meals were top quality and value for money. All the staff were very friendly, polite and provided excellent service and the decor and cleanliness of the hotel could not be faulted.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We had booked the deluxe room but I think we were in a superior room (smaller than deluxe) but either way we were happy with it. Everything was very clean and maid service was excellent. Only problem was we were on the 10th floor and could still hear the traffic below very clearly. The next time I would book something on floor 20 or higher. Location is ideal especially if you need to do shopping. We were in the centre of all of the good shopping centres. Staff were very courteous and I look forward to returning there soon.

This was my 1st time staying at this hotel but it has been my best stay ever in Bangkok!! The room is large and comfortable, the service impeccable and best of all the hotel is connected to MBK so it is the perfect location if you want to do some serious shopping in Bangkok. We mentioned that it was our honeymoon and the hotel was very nice to give us complimentary cake and wine to celebrate. All in all, a very pleasant stay and I will definitely recommend staying here to everyone.

Excellent stay. Great access to the skytrain, shopping centres and very friendly staff. Recent renovations mean the Princess looks modern but slightly understated. Great breakfast too.

Buffet breakfast was good by Thai standards, but the Korean restaurant in Pathumwan Princess was good. Supposedly the best in Bangkok.
It's a shame they only renovated the lobby area. The room decor is still pretty much stuck in the early 90's. But the excellent location makes up for everything that was not right. Great for family and business travellers.
The 24hr room service massage was excellent! And the room service was more than willing to accomodate me by cooking something that was not on the room service menu at 12 midnight.

Good location as MBK shopping centre is accessible through the 2nd level of the hotel.
Good thing is that the walk to the skytrain is sheltered from sun or rain. However, U have to walk through crowds of shoppers (at MBK) b4 u get to the skytrain.
The room is not very well mantained. The hotel lobby and reception area decor is a contrast to its room.
I have stayed in Siam Novotel a couple of months ago even though Novotel may charge a little more, I would go back to Novotel as the rooms are better mantained. The overall feel for the room in Novotel seems to be more comfy. Walk to the skytain from Novotel seems to be more direct and less time consuming even though its not sheltered.
Overall tip - if u are going bangkok for shopping, no point spending too much on hotel accomodation as u will not be in the room most of the time. U will need a hotel with deccent rooms and good access to skytains or shopping area.

Honeymoon couldnt be better in Bangkok without Prathuwan Princess Hotel. Location was absolutely spot on. Right at the heart of the city. In which it connects to the tourist shopping heaven MBK. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice,huge and spotlessly clean. We were given a complimentary honeymoon cake. No doubt, if ever i gonna stay in Bangkok again it has to be Prathuwan Princess Hotel.

Good Food, Good location...linked to major shopping malls...we return to our hotel for our toddler's nap and then go back to the shopping malls for dinner and shopping, all within walking distance...it's so convenient. Good choice of stay for families with elderly and kids...

THE HOTEL WAS MAGNIFICENT - THE SERVICE WAS TOP CLASS.
THE THAI PEOPLE ARE SO WARM AND WELCOMING. THE DINING AREA WAS SUPERB. ATTACHED TO A BIG SHOPPING CENTRE WAS A REAL PLUS :) WE STAYED ON THE 24TH FLOOR AND THE SIGHTS AT NIGHT WERE BEAUTIFUL. THE SERVICE FOR SIGHTSEEING TOURS WAS EFFICIENT.
