As we have only 1 night in BKK, we stayed in the Pathumwan Princess hotel for ease of everything -- shopping, dining and getting around with skytrain closeby. Superior room is spacious enough.

Staying at Pathumwan Princess Hotel is definitely one of my best stay in BKK. This hotel is situated in the best location for shopping and dining. The atmosphere is good with friendly hotel staffs and it gives a great sense of security when you step in as security officers are constantly on the prowl. I strongly recommend Pathumwan Princess Hotel for first timers and as well as frequent traveller. I will definitely stay at Pathumwan Princess Hotel again during my next visit.

The location of this hotel is good! Connected directly to MBK centre and within close walking distance to the Skytrain stations - Stadium & Siam. If i were to go Bangkok again i'd stay there. The rooms are clean and the pool is a good size. There's 2 heated jacuzzi also. Buffet breakfast is American and it's not too bad also.

I have stayed at Pathumwan Princess 4 times in the last 2 years and have found each and every time, a pleasant stay with great location. The rooms are good-sized and clean, the service good, the breakfast buffet comprehensive and the location (linked to MBK shopping centre and to the Skytrain station) can't be beat. I highly recommend it.

Checked in late at night, had to carry bags to reception, when we arrived there we were treated as an outcast or something, wife was with me an first thing they say is she staying with you, the room was booked for 2 not 1 . After 15 minutes of making copies of my passport, an my wife. we got pointed to the elevator where i room would be. The morning breakfast good use work, an the bakery shop had poor selections. Good location for shopping, but i would never stay there again or recommend to anyway.

I have already recommend my colleagues and friends to Pathumwan Princess. The location is so good if you want to enjoy shopping. And the room is also clean and tide. This time I used this hotel on my private purpose and satisfactory enough. I will use this hotel again the next time. At the time I confirmed the reservation just Executive Plus Suite was available. I will definitely stay at Pathumwan Princess again and choose siam.net to help me to book this hotel.

I have already recommend my colleagues and friends to Pathumwan Princess. The location is so good if you want to enjoy shopping. And the room is also clean and tide. This time I used this hotel on my private purpose and satisfactory enough. I want to use again if I come on business. At the time I confirmed the reservation just Executive Plus Suite was available so I had no choice even though I don't need so much space. One thing I want to comment on this spacious room is why they don't furnish another rest room. It will be much convenient if 2 rest rooms available in one room. We will definitely stay at Pathumwan Princess again.

My husband and I visited Bangkok for our 25th anniversary in July 2004. We chose Bangkok because I was always intrigued by the pictures of Thai dancers We had been warned that Bangkok was hot. We found that the weather was very hot and humid outside, but the air conditioning at the Pathumwan Princess (where we stayed) was excellent.
We had a deluxe room for 6 nights. It was definitely larger than the usual hotel room. It was beautifully out-fitted (right down to provision of 2 tooth brushes - something we often forget to pack). Maid service occured twice a day, so there was no shortage of clean towels.
We booked with the breakfast included. I can't remember how much extra it cost, but it was worth it. The breakfast buffet was unbelievably good with everything from western cereals, eggs, meat (chicken, beef, pork, fish), rice, breads etc. (You can definitely do the Atkins Diet for breakfast here.)
The staff were all charming and helpful. (These words don't adequately describe their graciousness). The musical entertainment at night was terrific with a wide range of music.
We used the hotel tour people to book tours. The service was great and there was too much to see it all in 6 days. We'd highly recommend the day tour to go elephant riding and rafting - though you're on a bus for a long time to get to and from it. You should also fit in some of the cultural events. The dancing is very graceful and beautiful.
Be prepared though if you are visiting a temple or palace. They are not air-conditioned and its very hot and humid. ulations too. Bring lots of water to drink when you're out.
All this, and the hotel is physically attached to the largest (air-conditioned) shopping mall.. Plus, you can make it to the (blissfully air-conditioned) Sky Train with only a short stroll outside.
We'd definitely go again and stay at this hotel - albeit it is expensive.

My wife and I stayed at the Pathumwan Princess, in a deluxe room, for four nights in March 2004. We found the hotel to be of exceptional value and the location is a dream for the serious shopper. If your a gym and or pool user then this is an added bonus. The food, staff and overall cleanliness of the hotel is a credit to the management and employees at the hotel. My wife and I have now found our ideal hotel to stay in while in Bangkok.
