Overall the hotel was average value for what it is. The breakfast buffet was decent - nothing special, but decent. Most of the staff in the buffet area appeared to be unhappy with their work, with one noteable exception, of one staff person making it a point to greet me each morning. The reception staff were usually friendly, and this was most obvious with the morning and afternoon reception staff. One evening/night reception staff person was quite unfriendly, but she was the exception. The hotel is close to the Silom area, but not really in the Silom area, and may not be easy to find the first time.

I have stayed many times at the hotel and I think it's very good value for your money. 5 min. walk to the subway. Taxi to Silom, 40 Baht.
Big rooms, that could be cleaned better!!!, Good breakfast. Take a Deluxe room, and it's been renovated a year ago.

The hotel is near to the SuanLuan Market and is of walkable distance from the Lumpinee Station. The hotel is quite old but the room is clean. The breakfast is nice with a wide variety to choose from -from Chinese porridge, Bread and butter, fried rice, noddle, cereal, to fruits, etc.

Anyway i see a big increase in the room charge.
I've paid only usd32.00 for a standard room.
The breakfast buffet is fantastic! but quite a pricey internet charge that time

Room a bit small with very loud music on saturday nites due to SuanLum Night Market night party. Music lasts till midnite.
Location perfect as SuanLum market is just about 10 minutes by food.
Train station to Chatuchak about 5-7 minutes away.
The area outside of hotel is a bit low class and messy and noisy. I had problems with the choices of food out side there by the street. BUt once you reach hotel area it's like another world. Nice.

The hotel lobby is new, the breakfast is slight above average. The rooms are dated (need some new upgrades). The bathroom is clean but looks a bit dated. The location is quite near to a MRT. I won't recommend this hotel to a family and new tourist to bangkok.

It was our 4th stay in the Pinnacle Hotel and this time in 2008 we were surprised by newly renovated rooms, the luxuary lobby as well as the very tasteful dining room. The hotel is absolutely recommandable and value for its price.
Breakfast and other food are great. We are looking forward to staying again in this hotel.

The location of the Hotel was perfect. It was close to Silom and Lumpinee MRT Stations and the Public Market. The hotel could upgrade and renovate the fitness and the pool facilities. But the breakfast, service and the rates were great and I would definitely stay there again.

The remodel of the lobby and especially the dining room is great, but I wish they'd refurbish the rooms as well. The rooms are still really worn and showing their age. The hallways are dark and dingy. On the plus side, the location is pretty good and the service is still quite nice. I don't think I'll stay there again though, unless they update the rooms and make the place seem less depressing.

This hotel has the most stupid door lock sytem i have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!i locked my self very ,,, if you turn key the wrong way once you cannot then open the even if you turn it the other way,,,, you then have to wait while somebody comes from the front desk to open it for you with a pass key,,,,,,,one of my friends waited 20 mins for them to come at 1 in the morning,,very very stupid ,nobody could tell why it is this way,many people have had the same problem,,,get them to change it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there is even a video on u tube about ,,when will they learn
