Overall I found the hotel to be very good. The afternoon I checked in the receptionists were somewhat lacking in professional friendly approach to customers. I noticed this same attitude again in the morning.
However the dining room staff were pleasant and attentive.

What more can you ask for in a place to spend a few nights in? The room's very clean, carpeted, air-conditioned, with colour tv, attached bathroom, mini fridge/bar, hot drink electric flask, and, most important of all, a bed with firm mattress that is long enough for my 6 foot body!
The buffet breakfast is also very nice with a spread of western and local dishes. And the staff is very friendly and efficient. Last, but certainly not least, is the fact that it's probably one of the cheapest hotels in Bangkok that you can find with such facilities.
The only thing I don't like is that there is a 1,000THB lost key deposit, so I've that much less to spend till I check out!

The place is OK, but seems to be going down hill over the years that I have been staying there. The room was very small, they did not meet my request for a big bed and it just did not seem clean. The staff are not friendly at all. They hate their jobs and it shows.

It was located in a great area - right near the train. It made getting around Bangkok very accessible.

I think the price should be 20% cheaper. Other than that every thing is ok. Lately, the female cashier is acting up with little attitute. Every one else in the hotel are very fine. Hope, someone will talk to the cashier female so in the future i don't see this happen again.

This hotel is my top choice in Bangkok for its value-for-money and location. Service is generally good and unobtrusive. I've also no complaints at all about room cleanliness. What else can I say? I'm always returning to the Pinnacle Lumpinee!
I was request for a high floor...
I was request for a high floor smoking room with a king size bed. Reach the hotel at about 12:30pm, and they said they only have room with 2 single bed and if want king size bed i have to wait till 2:30pm, so i said i'll wait then.... but then the girl give excuse and said the room will be at low floor, and non-smoking etc.... Pissed off i took the original room.
Overall the hotel is good at it's price. the facilities are limited but the location is good, cross the main road and you'll reach Suam Lam Night Market, the subway station is also within walking distant from the hotel. I was stay in Deluxe room ( was looking for Superior room but not available) and the room size is just nice (not sure how's the Superior room).
The saddest part was that they didn't...
The saddest part was that they didn't replenished back the body foam or shampoo every day. I presume they take us for granted as we bring along our bodyfoam there which i think is not a reason for them not to replace it, furthermore i see dead cockroach carcass lying near to the mirror in the toilet which the room attendant had obviously didn't noticed it. Food was alright & the room was satisfactory!
