This hotel is ideally situated for using...
This hotel is ideally situated for using river taxis and great for clothing bargains. The room had seen better days really, although the public areas are beautiful. The chinese restaurant on the 32nd floor is worth giving a miss - expensive and food terrible. Eat at the pool bar instead which is great.

Suitable hotel to stay for 2-3 nights,if...
Suitable hotel to stay for 2-3 nights,if you don't want to stay in guesthouse.Pro's - close to the historical centre, nice and chip market on the lowest levels. But some might be frightened of specific exotic of Bangkok. Minus - far from entertainment facilities, but low price for taxi-meter makes it easy to get anywhere in Bangkok.

Our stay at the Prince Palace on...
Our stay at the Prince Palace on October 25 – 27, 2007 was very pleasant and comfortable. Our room on the 26th floor of Tower A was clean and neat. The response to our request for service was immediate. The house help (even though they speak very little English) was all smiles - polite and courteous. The same is true with the staff at the reception desk on the 11th floor of Tower A, morning shift. They were wonderful! However, the ground staff needs some English lessons to manage simple requests from hotel guests. I was looking for a copy of Thailand This Week and Bangkok Metro Magazine, but the staff had no idea what I was asking for. My overall rating is 4/5 Ina, Clifton, NJ/Iloilo City, Philippines

This hotel is really impressing and we...
This hotel is really impressing and we defintely will stay at it again next time. The swimming pool, service, breakfast, room are great. The location is between world trade center and great palace (just 70B fee by taxi).

Everything just fine. Clean and everything one might expect from a hotel like this. It is very comfortable. The only problem is the airconditioning that is too potent and cannot be adjusted correctly. We kept getting up cold and with sore throats. Apart from that, it is a very good hotel.

We request for late check out but...
We request for late check out but we received a call from the counter saying that they are going to charge us for half day if we still dun check out @ 2pm. Our flight was @ 8.30pm... Where are we to go??? So was quite disappointed.

for the price I can't complain about...
for the price I can't complain about this Hotel. It's pretty central and easy to get to most places. Other than breakfast we did not eat there. The bar was expensive by Thai standards.
