Clean, Comfy, Cheap! We will be returning...
Clean, Comfy, Cheap! We will be returning to stay here! The breakfast had a huge range and filled us up well every morning. The pool was great and food and drinks available while your lounging around. Comfertable bed and HUGE bathroom!!! Massage was great and only 400 Baht (5 pounds!!) Right outside is all the clothes shopping you need and a 70-80 Baht taxi ride will take you to the Pratnum (I think) Markets with cheap cheap cheap electronics and dvd's. The front desk even wrote the name of where we wanted to go in thailand so the taxi's were a breeze!!! Beware taxi at airport trying to rip you off - go outside to the public taxi rank for meter taxis... a taxi to this hotel cost us roughly 200 Baht. SCRUMPTIOUS food from the room service. And a great coktail called a Blue Sky in the Karaoke Lounge. Definantly reccomend this hotel!!!!

The room in Prince Palace Hotel was...
The room in Prince Palace Hotel was beautiful.  The maid did a good job.  The breakfast was wonderful.  One thing I hate is that the Hotel did not serve good its customers : no buse maps, no cities maps, no taxi phone, no information about tourists attractions in Bangkok.  Everything needs to ask the front desk one by one.  For a foreigner, there is no need to stay in this Hotel, you will be riff off.  The hotel has its own taxis which are more expensives than the cities taxis.  It is not a good palce to stay.  If I go back to Bangkok, I will choose different Hotel.

The Prince Palace hotel is more than...
The Prince Palace hotel is more than perfect for budgeted travellers, rooms are very big comparing to other hotels (even 4 and 5 star hotels), comfortable. hotel is clean, service is good .Location is very good as its close to anywhere you want- about 20 min to Downtown on taxi. Its supposed to be a 4 star hotel. price is cheap but be careful when placing long distance calls or Landry. I will difinately go there again with no hesitation

Buchung: Deluxe-Room incl. Fruestueck im 21. OG, Zimmer und Hotel insgesamt sehr sauber, Keine Zusatzkosten fuer unsere 6-jaehrige Tochter, Betten ausreichend breit fuer 2 Erwachsene mit Kind, keine Moeglichkeit um zusaetzliche elektrische Geraete (Buegeleisen, CD-Player) zu betreiben, Rasierapparat wird aber wahrscheinlich gehen, reichhaltiges Fruehstueck auch mit europaeischen Speisen, Pool sauber und gepflegt, Essen im chinesischen Restaurant im obersten Geschoss sehr feudal, Preis dem Ambiente angemessen, Bedienung und Personal freundlich, wenn auch manchmal die Verstaendigung in englisch etwas schwierig war, Telefonkosten vom Hotel aus extrem teuer, Zimmerservice war extrem schnell.

Overall is ok and value for money....
Overall is ok and value for money. The only short-fall is tht it cant access by BTS. However, taking taxi to places like Silom, Siam Square will cost around B50-B70 when no trafic jam.

This hotel was fine for a night or two. Room was clean but the whole place was a bit dated. The reception staff were friendly but were not proactive in providing info about the city, where to eat or maps etc. We had to go an ask ourselves. The pool was great - really nice little bar, with music playing and friendly staff. It was on the 28th Floor so we caught plenty of sun and felt miles away from the hustle and bustle outside.
