I just want to say that Royal Princess Larn Luang has to be the best hotel you could find in BKK for this price range. The room is of good size, and is very nicely decorated, a modern theme with good taste. Breakfast is served in the uppermost floor with fanstatic view. Staff speak good english, give good service. Checking in and out is a breeze is so hard to fault anything here. It's location may not be the greatest but it is near to BTS, departmental store and nightlife venues (patpong is stone throw away, may not be a good thing depending on who you are).

The Royal Princess Larn Luang hotel is a very nice hotel. The service is impeccable, we notified the hotel that we were on the honeymoon and got flowers, fruit, a present and card:) Nice rooms, delicious food, 5min by taxi to Wat Po, Emerald Buddha and King's Palace. All in all a very pleasant stay.
Room, service and food good. Air conditioning...
Room, service and food good. Air conditioning vent near our room, noisey. Taxis into main areas of Bangkok OK, problem the other way - oneway system in operation, make sure you are the right side of the street when you hail a Taxi otherwise you have a tour of Bangkok on you way back to the hotel. For a city hotel I would use again.
Near Big Palace & Wat Pho. But...
Near Big Palace & Wat Pho. But we really prefered the Twin Towers where the pool is beautiful and the taxi service is perfect (not the same for Royal Princess).
