Thai people in general are very nice. So also at this hotel.
Poor English in general.Could easily be improved by sending staff to basic English course. Restaurant staff should repeat the orders to avoid mistakes being made.
Staff in the coffeeshop/bar invisible behind the plastic flowers. They must pay better and quicker attention to the guests.
The pool is good but there should be BIG signs with
PLEASE SHOWER BEFORE USING THE POOL - in English,French and German. Many guests jumped into the pool or jacuzzi without even taking the briefest of shower.

This is my second time at the Royal River. Fantastic. Out of the hurry of the city, close to Temples and Palaces. Staff very friendly and helpful. This hotel is my preferred choice in Bangkok. Wonderful

This hotel was awsome! It was out of the city which was nice nad relaxing and the service could not be better. The room was a good size and we got everything we asked for. The buffet breakfast was excellent. There was a shuttle service that took you into the city and next to the hotel was a shuttle boat taxi service. The staff were very helpful. I really enjoyed this place on our honeymoon and would visit again and again.

Nice and quiet location. Would advise getting the local ferry boat direct to the temples rather than using the hotel's free boat on offer. As it is only 16B per person. The ferry terminal is visable from the water front.

We stayed for four nights in November. Nice location on the river. A little out of the way, but great to get away from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok. Peter at the tour desk was a great help with tours and general information. Breakfast buffet was very good with a great selection.

We got 2 rooms, 1 tripe, 1 double. we went deluxe so the rooms were very very big! Great views overlooking the river. Breakfast was the highlight, front house staff were helpful, if limited in communication skills! Bit far out by road but water taxi was excellent. 2 great little restaurants outside the hotel on the left. VERY expensive by comparison to eat in the hotel and quality only OK. 2 small negatives were the overhelpful porters and the bathrooms were grubby. One personal issue, I don't understand why you have to pay for internet usage in the hotel !!
