Very fine hotel, maybe the rooms looked...

Very fine hotel, maybe the rooms looked a bit old like Matt from Denmark said, but we have not tried the more expensive rooms. However, the dinner buffé and the breakfast buffé really was incredible, good place to stay if it´s just for one night in Bangkok before leaving the country, as it was for us. I´ll be back in the Sofitel Central Plaza Hotel :)

Hotel was good value for money, especially...

Hotel was good value for money, especially with the inclusion of breakfast. Very comprehensive breakfast buffet, and omlettes made to order on the spot. A bit far from downtown Bangkok, but fine for an overnight stay or business as it is close to the airport.

Overall the service given by the hotel...

Overall the service given by the hotel was average. I book and paid a room for three persons. I was given only two beds for the first night. I hope the staff in SOFITEL could be more careful the next time in dealing with this matter. The water that came through the tap at the bath tub was filled with sand particles. Feedback was given to the hotel staff but no action was done.

Nice hotel, fine location not too far...

Nice hotel, fine location not too far to airport esp when we take a express way to airport at 8.00, a large array of breakfast one of the best we have tried so far, the room is ok a bit old, a large shopping mall is good for crusing around, it's a bit far to goto underground or BTS station, you may need to take a cab or bus to there.
