The hotel is clean and the view, if you get a chance to have a room in the higher floors, is amazing. The club options is not necessary. People are pretty nice and very helping.

I stayed in Bangkok several times in different hotels. Sofitel Silom hotel was one of best for this price . BUT If you re european and yr partner 's asian . This might make you feel uncomfortable by the hotel securities and the staffs especially on the club floor and business center . eventhough my partner did check in with me and we re a real married couple . By talking with some others guests . it s a bit difficult also to bring someone up to yr rooms . they generalise that strangers re all hookers . Breakfast was nice but if you re staying on the club floor . the meal s much more generous . Just like to point out that the swimming pool is too small, hope it can be improved.

Staying at Sofitel Silom has been one of mine incredible experience. I was struggling before booking has been made. However, a pleasant stay at Sofitel Paris drives me to make my booking. With a really high expectation arrived at the hotel, the lobby decor with contemporary touch with zen element really impressed me. Great size of room and breakfast choices. However, sanitary acessories should have been replace daily. Although the breakfast is really good, at least some variety should be exchange daily. overall. is a one of the best hotel in bangkok i would say. Could not wait to be there again to be pampered.

Sofitel Silom hotel is a top rate hotel. The decor is lovely, the service even better, the location extremely convenient. Fitness facilities and a smallish pool, and a generous buffet add value to this great place.

We stayed at Sofitel for 4 nights...
We stayed at Sofitel for 4 nights and it was absoluteley great. We are a familiy with 2 children (7 and 5 years old) and it was no problem at all to stay in one room. We had one extra bed and one king size bed which was relly huge (at least big enough for 3 persons). The view was great. The staff of the hotel is extremely friendly, the breakfast is very good, the location close to the Patpong night market is also very good. There is only one little complaint: The pool and area around the pool is very small, but ok for a little swim.

We had an enjoyable 3 night stay at Sofitel Silom hotel. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We were greeted the moment we stepped into the hotel, all the way to the lift lobby, making us feel indeed welcome at this fine hotel. The breakfast at Shanghai restaurant offered a fair selection, but what was special was the lovely view of the city from the 38th floor of the hotel.
The hotel rooms were nicely furnished and clean and overall very pleasant.
The gym was reasonably well equipped but the hotel pool was rather small.
The hotel is a short cab ride away from the main shopping areas, and it was very easy hailing cabs from the hotel. The hotel bellboys were very helpful.
We will certainly consider returning to Sofitel Silom again on our future trips to Bangkok.

As usual, the Sofitel Silom is a cool haven from the madness and heat of Bangkok. This is my 3rd stay (each averaging six nites) in seven months, and the experience is as wonderful as the first.
What I found particularly commendable was the room make-up service. My room was made up within the one hour that I was at breakfast, so each day started with a clean fresh room
I commented that the breakfast provided on the 38th floor (with spectacular view of the city and the river) was boring after the 2nd morning and was redirected to the meal served on the 2nd floor - a much more sumptous spread but minus the view.
I am intending to stay at the Sofitel Silom again in September this year and many more stays thereafter if the hotel maintains this excellent standard of service and facilities.

Stayed at the Sofitel Silom hotel for 4 nights. Hotel is only a close walk away from BTS. Rooms are excellent with a superb bathroom. View from the top floors is incredible. Service and breakfast are very good.
Downgrade to 8 rating because of the nearly not existing pool. (very small)
