The Sukhothai hotel is excellent if you are looking for friendly hotel with excellent garden-like atmosphere, all with 5-star service. Possibly the best Thai restaurant I have ever been to is located in the hotel. Good location, but in fact good everything. A real find! And well done asiarooms.com.

It was my first stay at the Sukhothai hotel and the whole place exudes a sense of refined luxury. Even though I stayed in one of the rooms near the side that is being renovated, this did not intrude on the overall pleasantness of the stay. The pool is gorgeous and the service is great. It's an oasis of calm in the virbant chaos that is Bangkok. It's even right near the Suan-Lum Night Bazaar (for the shopaholics). I'm definitely staying there again when I next return to Bangkok.

The Sukhothai is an excellent hotel which exudes style and class with a great Thai flavour. The service, quality of the rooms and facilities are exceptional and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The location, set-back off a busy road and 30 min walk to the river, is the hotels only downside but the quality of the hotel and ease of getting a taxi / tuk-tuk more than make up for it. Highly recommended.

We have just completed our second stay at the Sukhothai.It is a lovely peaceful hotel, with a great swimming pool.The breakfast is the best we have had in Bangkok, All the staff are friendly and helpful.

Sukhothai in Bangkok, Top of the line. More 'original Thai' than the other two best, Peninsula & Orient, and that's what I want in Thailand. It just don't have the views, but the ambiance make up for that a 100%. Best bathroom ever...

The staff was great, especially the limo drivers. They bent over backwards to make sure we saw what we wanted to see and warned of places not to go to. Sure would like to go back again. The weekend stay was a good value.

Possibly the best hotel in Bangkok.I stayed there several times and have never been disappointed. The staff is extremely efficient, courteous and never obtrusive. Food is excellent especially in the Italian restaurant next to the pool. If you can afford a suite do not hesitate as the bathrooms are simply gorgeous. It reigns in this hotel a kind of serene atmosphere that is unique in Bangkok. The gardens are great too.
