Well, I can only say it's a "nice basic" hotel. Cleaness is okay, breakfast is just okay, too. Location is good, convinient to go anywhere in the city. Environment around the hotel is not so comfortable.
Except from the quite dated bathroom (but clean!) everything was to my fullest satisfaction!
I stayed in a Hemingway room which can be compared to a upper class 3-star Hotel in Germany. Service is great, friendly staff so no need to worry. Location is brilliant and everbody is trying to give you a pleasant stay!
Room was great value for price, and location near skytrain was very convenient. Breakfast was included and available from 5:30am. We dined there on 2 nights and enjoyed listening, and dancing, to music provided by the band.
Hotel arranged tour to River Kwai with Kitti Raft ... this took numerous phone calls because we hadn't decided to do this until after 7pm and tours for the next day close at 8pm.
Breakfast catered for people from many nationalities. Our only complaint was that food in the bain-maries was lukewarm and we prefer our food hot ... most other people didn't seem to worry.
We'd stay there again!
Hotel was absolutely fine for our base in Bangkok. We were able to get a taxi or tuk-tuk to everywhere we wanted to visit. Only 10 mins drive (if that) to Night Bazaar which was great. Never made it for breakfast but the restaurant looked great and the choice available from what I saw was good. In a road with plenty of shops/bars/places to eat. We were warned the area was a little sleazy but its not something we particularly noticed. Staff friendly, rooftop pool lovely! Room clean and pretty big, gave good views over Bangkok. Would stay again.
I have stayed at this hotel since it was built, more than 50 times, when it was the Hampton Inn, it is first class and i have neer had any problems, the staff are friendly, i highly recommend the Zenith, 100%, keep up the good work.
