I have stayed in this hotel many times, initially because of its location to the airport, unfortunately there is now a new airport which is the main international transit hub which is much further away than the old one from the hotel.
Perhaps because of this i have noticed a lack of investment in the rooms, they are now looking tired and not well maintained, i am sure the hotel is suffering with the loss of many airport customers.
The service is friendly and efficient
TV channels are a cause of frustration, there are few, mostly thai speaking, a couple of business channels and a hotel channel that laughingly puts its own dvd movies on which are usually very old and often repeated for consecutive nights.
when the movie finishes it can be hours before a staff member notices and changes the dvd and all you are looking at is a screen with a cursor flashing for the play input for the dvd player
I would have thought there would be at least HBO or another major movie provider for channels, pretty unacceptable in this class of hotel
Wii-fi is not complimentary and is a ridiculous price for Thailand.
For my next visit i will be looking at other options
