We are happy about the price and location is easy to find. However we don't like the smell in the lobby which is exactly the mint smell which ppl use for foot massage. This make the hotel smell like a massage centre, quite strange.
If they can change burning other type of aroma oil, it would help a lot.
Hotel is not a high storey one, but likely our room is facing inner street, thus although on 3rd floor, also very quiet. We found it quite smelly when they are doing housing keeping in day time in the corridor. I'd suggest them to put the changed/used clothes/towel/blanket into a big trolley rather than dumped it in front of the lift. We were surprised to see it was not arranged properly and it kind of impressed guest when coming out the lift in an negative way! Other than these, I would say overall we like this hotel and most likely returning, we have a feeling that they are in the midst of changing but not completely refurnished. 80% in the room is comfy and trendy,
except the wooden bit e.g. wardrobe, cabinet, door etc (these are quite worn out). Bathroom need improvement. Water pressure is great! Lovely staff. Excellent breafast!
