We were on December 2011, Room is big but maybe a bit old. Hotel has a perfect location, really good and cheap spa, and everything is more than correct. I expected more from the breakfast, but was ok also. Really no bad points. If I comeback to BKK I will book this hotel again.
Hotel well located close to skyline stop and river boat station. It is located in a secondary road so not very noisy. Room where we stayed was a little bit old, air conditionong and refrigerator Aldo old and noisy. Breakfast was very nice, thai food, eggs, omelettes, nice coffee, toasts, fruits, juices... Friendly staff and very nice massages!!!!!! (cheap as well)
Totally over priced hotel for room & facilities. This hotel isn't in SILOM as advertised on asia rooms!!! Rooms are small & pokey for prices they charge. Didn't eat here so cant comment on food. Bed comfy. Pool is super small.. we booked this hotel due to location and pool advertised and both were incorrect. Very disappointed. Supposed to stay three nights, only stayed one.. What they don't tell you is that you need to pay in FULL as soon as you arrive, very unusual for a hotel (esp as we both work in this industry). Very rude female manager who wasn't flexible at all even though we had been travelling all day. Payment at end of stay was not an option. Worst hotel we stayed in after months of travel in Asia...
Bossotel is well situated in Bangrak.Close to the river ferries and the skytrain. Many restaurants around for farangs, especially Indian. The hotel itself is a nice little boutique hotel, though a bit older, they are renovating room by room. Ours was fine. My partner lamented the fact that they are phasing out bath tubs. The restaurant has good and pretty inexpensive food. The breakfast has many good choices, but being a vegetarian, they could have more hot choices and fewer wienies. The restaurant has good food at inexpensive prices. Even snacks and drinks from the room are reasonable for a hotel. Good place to stay.
In comparison, room rate not cheap. Due to location very near to Shangrila hotel, things surround the area is more expensive because consider rich people area. Difficult to find good restaurant foods and variety of foods in surrounding area.No good shopping at all. I went to Silom area. It is better to stay there.
