I stayed at this hotel for 5 nites. the price was ok i paid for the room. when i first arrived there, the check in counter people looked overwhelmed with all the people that were checking in. I was just handed my room key, and told which room i was staying in. wasent shown where the elevaters were, wasent told about the complimentary breakfast, wasent even told what floor i was on. Breakfast buffet was ok, however, if you want coffee, you have to flag down a waiter or waitress. if youre having breakfast by yourself. when you get up to get more food, when you come back, your table will be clean and taken by someone else. hotel is strict about bringing guests to your room. they wanted my friend to pay 1000 baht to come to my room. i probably wont be staying there again.

The hotel is nice and the rooms of the superior crown tower are spacious and with good and also spacious bathrooms, but are starting to show the age. I booked three rooms and they made a big mess at the reception with the guest names and our check-out date.

Hotel is nice and tidy. All the staff are very nice and helpful. I've stayed for 2 times but everytime the check-in time is always delay. Welcome drinks will be provided by hotel in this case. Location can't say 'convenient' coz you have to walk around 10 mins to arrive skytrain station.

I have been there twice, First time date on 6-9 May 2005and it's a nice place in the center of bussiness,not far from sky train and highway. The hotel clean, tidy and comfortable to stay long,especially the food for breakfast and tom yang kung for my dinner, it's very very delicious. I come back again to Thailand, I will stay in Holiday Inn more

I enjoyed a long stay at the Holiday Inn Silom Plaza. It is not a five star hotel and I am surprised it advertises itself as such, thouhg charges for room service and laundary felt like five star charges (and I must admit the services were good). The hotel is an unusual mix of central city business hotel and family hotel. The rooms are about 3.5 stars and the general level of sophistication is consistent with the standards of a US Holiday Inn - not a top class Asian hotel. Overall, the Holiday Inn Silom Plaza is a decent value for the price but the rating is suspect.
