It is nice hotel,( Corner Wing ),my son who is very lovely,he request next to BKK must stay at Corner Wing.Actually it is very good service and helpful.

On the positive side, the staff of this hotel are very friendly and courteous. The design of the hotel is top class and whilst the room we had was large with 4 poster king size bed, it did not have enough light and seemed clostrophobic. The pool is pleasant but not enough room for more than 12 people on the sun beds. Whilst location is a little remote, there is a hotel tuk tuk shuttle service to the Emporium and the sky train however the hotel is located right on a very busy street which is noisy. There are plenty of taxis on tap and by world standards, they are cheap transport so the remoteness is not the problem that others have indicated. Whilst our stay there was pleasant enough, we found that we prefer the Raffels Nai Lert Park which is well insulated from the sounds of traffic noise and has large gardens and swimming pool. The Davis may be more appropriate for business people than those on holiday.

Spent 3 nights in a Junior Suite. Arrived late in the evening and they processed my check in very quickly, the staff at reception were courteous and friendly throughout my stay.
The concierge/door staff were always helpful in getting me a taxi and making sure I got where I needed to go.
The room itself was delightful, very spacious with a kitchen opening into the lounge. A seperate door takes you into the bedroom off which is a very large bathroom with a seperate shower that you could fit 4 people into easily! Comfortable furniture, everything that you could possibly need or want was there.
Overall I thought that the Davis Bangkok hotel was one of the best hotels in Bangkok that I have stayed in, the suite was exceptionally good value for money. There was one factor that stopped me giving it 10/10, the location. If you are going to use a taxi to get around then its no problem, if you want to use the skytrain it's a 15 - 20 minute walk away. As a frequent visitor to Bangkok its location doesn't suit me, if I were a tourist the location would have made no difference and it would have been an excellent choice and no doubt I would have given 10/10.

I have stayed at many a hotel in Bangkok and I find the Davis to be pretty good with the exception of the location. Going out is easy for they have the tuk-tuk running but coming back is an obstacle. It is stupid to take a taxi from the BTS station as it is a very short distance, I don't think any taxi driver would appreciate the business. If you go by foot and especially at night, it's kind of scary, also if you are carrying a lot of shopping, good luck to you !

I have been to Bangkok many times....
I have been to Bangkok many times. To me, this hotel is just okay. It rate I got from this site was fair. However, I really don't think it is a 5 star hotel. It'd be a 3.5 stars hotel to me, not a 5 star one, but the location is really good.
