Diplomat rooms very luxurious - great location near emporium shopping mall and seafood market restaurant. Other rooms very nice too and very good value for money. Staff very helpful.

Absolutely perfect hotel. Could not fault it one little bit. The negative points were already known by me (distance from BTS and cost of laundry) so that's fine.

Generally very happy with this hotel.
Facilities and service are good - chef was happy to make me a special dinner that was not on the menu.
Location is not so good, but shuttlebus to skytrain station overcomes this problem.
The only real downside was the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

The room was a very good value for money. The breakfast could have better but was still OK. There was a buffet and could get your eggs freshly baked.
The only downsize about the room is that the bathroom could use a renovation (especially the shower). All the rest was excellent.
The location was very good, since it was a quiet neighbourhood and close to a stop of the river boot.

Recently stayed in Davis Bangkok for 3 nights.
Overall the hotel is sufficient but in terms of facilities and the room itself, I would definately award it 5*. However the service was extememly disappointing and would rate that about 1*. I didn't find the staff particulalry helpful or friendly, if anything the total opporsite, they were very moody and stuck up.
The hotel is very modern and comtemporary, rooms are very spacious. The location is a bit out the way and quite a long walk to nearest skyrail or underground station, about 15mins. However the otel does provide a completmientary tuk tuk to take you to local skyrail...they didnt tell me, i found out on the last day of my stay.

My stay in the Davis was only for a few days and i have to say i could not of asked for a better hotel for my first time in Bangkok. The service was wonderful from everyone i cannot find a bad word to say about the davis hotel.
