Avoid this place at all costs, there...
Avoid this place at all costs, there are so many other better alternatives instead to fall in this mess! When i first arrived for check in (about 3pm), apparently they were changing shift on reception and everybody was just telling goodbye and going home, i was so worry because the lady that took my id disappeared with it for a while and i tought she went home with it(she just grabbed it and go), however another member of the staff asked me if i was ok after seing me waiting for a long time and he reassured me that it was all ok, so, i paid in cash, got my receipt and key and went to my room. I went out and when i came back at about 7pm i found my friend waiting for me upstairs, she had already the key of my room in her hands and i was so surprised about this because my reservation didn't had her name on it and she didn't even knew what my name was, so this means that anyone could had free access to my personal belonging! Can you believe this?! Honestly i am shocked and i perfectly understand the reason for that sticker on the back of the door that say to put the latch on when you are in otherways other people can get in from outside, it's because any walking in stranger can get the key of your room without even knowing your name! Beware people! And is not finish, under my door i found a message from reception telling me to contact them urgently because i had to pay for the room! I called downstair and told them i had a receipt with a big red stamp that was saying paid, including a deposit which was not mentioned at the moment of the booking (surprise surprise!), this time they apologised and stopped in there(about 7pm). In the middle of the night my room telephone start ringing, it was a receptionist (this time a man) that again told me to go downstairs and pay because it was a special promotion from asiaroom and he basically wanted me to go and pay again the same amount, so twice what it was already agreed and stamped by them, well as you can imagine at this point i was furious, i shouted at him to tell me in what position he was working in the hotel(as he didn't introduced himself previously), as soon as i find out he was just a receptionist i ask to talk with a manager, i then spoken on the phone with a lady that say she was the manager in charge, i told her in a manner she would probably remember for sometime what did i think of this tricks, their hotel and the way they deal with this sort of things.....they didn't dare to bother me again that night. This might certainly look as a little mistake.......not! I am not a tourist and i use hotels on a regular basis, i know what they are up to, in a way or another they will just try to make you pay almost twice(yes you read well, doubling prices) for whatever they previously agreed with you or your travel agent and very sadly here we are not talking about cheap places, i am talking about 4 and 5 stars hotels in bangkok, welcome to thailand! Oh just some more useful info: the food of the restaurant is at best mediocre and way overpriced for what you get, the pasta had so much oil on it you could not believe it, the fish i am sure they fry it on the same oil they used to cook pork, because the fish was tasting like a fried pork!!!!, perhaps this is ok with their false ecological presumptions, they even put a note to ask you not to make the housekeeper change your bed sheets, it's all about greed in this hotel, i have been told the manager is chinese.....toilets doesn't have the water's spray for the toilette seat and not even a toilette brush (!), there is a wide black mark on the bath tub left for sure by a previously well placed math wich has been removed leaving an incredible sleppery surface, the shower head metal pipe is coming out from a hole in the cement which apparently was too much assle to cover or fix that grossly made workmanship, the worksmen also left finger marks all over the tiles with something that was looking like black silycone, screws from the air ventilation half in and half out, more very dirty material around the electric switches, yellow liquid spilled all over part of the wallpaper (all it needed to be removed was a wet sponge....), curtains full of stains, a hairdryer with hairs on it, a light not working, the smoke detector looks like if is going to fall on your head at any moment, on the electric device controllor was some dirt looking like jam, grossly hugly dust coming out from under the bed, cracks on the walls, a very hugly and old remote tv with his remote control(20-25y.o.?), aircondition frame pending badly on one side, then this mysterious unlocked door inside the toilette with pipes inside and apparently connecting all rooms upstairs and downstairs (well whom is going to need that when anybody could just ask and being given a key for your room, but you already know that i think), a chocolate bar priced 100 baht! (outside they cost 20 baht or so), there is also an ashtray with matches on top, but mine was a non-smoking room with smoke-detectors and all that stuff, so, the question is...how much they fine you if you do actually smoke there? Probably many people that do smokes, are in holiday and come back late at night would just do it and end up in this other "innocent" trap......., they did a firedrill just after i checked in and the voice from the tannoy was so bad you could not understand a single word apart when it repeats "contact reception", this is because their p.a. System is rubbish or the person talking was having the microphone inside her mouth and under the tongue (just to give you a clear representation of what i could hear then, i think the example is quite close to it, but maybe was really that, well i think we will never find out), i also got pictures and other evidences to substantiate my writing on request, thanks for reading.

This hotel is excellent in term of the location, room rate, service as well as the quality. This hotel was just located exactly next to MRT station & shopping mall where it was good for shopping, food & sightnseeing. The room rate was very attractive when compared with those hotels in downtown with same quality. The staff in counter was very nice & helpful, and we were so pleased to provide a room at higher floor. The breakfast was excellent with many choices provided. The room was clean with good housekeeping service. The swimming pool was a little bit small, but it was good enough for relaxation. Overall, we are very satisfied with this hotel, and we are sure to live in again when we come back to Bangkok for vacation next time.

This was the first time I have stayed at this hotel. I come to Bangkok at least once a month and have stayed at many and varied hotels. This one is quite good for the money and the major plus is the location and ease of getting around from here. Shopping centre attached and IT mall as well. I highly recommend this hotel.
