Conveniently located near the new airport, about 15-20 minutes in a local cab (200-300 Baht) and you can book the hotel's Limousine Service for airport transfers (more expensive). Food, service, money exchange and facilities excellent, but location is not near the heart of Bangkok city, so is better suited for overnight flight transfers.
If you are planning to stay here...
If you are planning to stay here because you think it is close to the new Bangkok Airport, be warned, its not !!!, it is circa 30 minutes by cab, which if you add another 10 minutes could take you into Sukhmvit or the Riverside.
The hotel itself is a very standard Novotel, and is fair value for the money, but the location quite literally is in the middle of nowhere. Extent of things to do, is walk to the petrol station next door.

It's just the location that is the...
It's just the location that is the problem. It's not possible to walk to Central because the road out the front doesn't have a footpath and it's too dangerous. You really need a car to get ANYWHERE. I was surprised the Novotel Bangna didn't provide a free shuttle to On Nut or Central. No restaurants nearby so you have to use the hotel's overpriced ones (++). Great breakfast, friendly staff and good room.
