Very dissapointed with the selection on breakfast buffet, coz most of it contains pork n lard. I thought it's very expensive breakfast to cost around THB 250 for breads, cereals n fruits coz as a muslim that's all I could eat.

A friend and I stayed at the Royal Benja in early April 2007 for three nights. The hotel was well located and the room was large, airy and clean with comfortable bed. The feeling we had, though the hotel was more than adequate for our requirements, was that it is need of an overhaul....carpets on our corridor were somewhat dingy, paintwork was tired and the bathroom could have done with sprucing up - however wonderful power shower in huge but aging cubicle. Pleasant, helpful reception staff. Breakfast was varied, though slightly "canteen".

The Royal Benja Hotel located at Nana...
The Royal Benja Hotel located at Nana was ideally located in the Sukhumvit province of Bangkok, only 3 minutes walk away from the Bangkok Sky Train, wonderful food stalls and wares sellers, street markets, pubs, and other services one would want (Internet access, 711 stores, transport, food stalls, markets, massage rooms...). In our opinion, whilst there would be cheaper Guesthouse accommodations available around Sukhumvit (Nana), Royal Benja was a wonderful, safe & secure location for our Bangkok visit, with wonderful friendly staff present 24 hours a day. The Royal Benja Hotel represents good value for money. Our stay was 7 nights, based over three individual check-in/out visits whilst we travelled different parts of Thailand and Cambodia. We used the Royal Benja as our Bangkok base for travel. The Royal Benja being located Nana was close to all Bangkok's modern public transport services - Skytrain & Underground Railway, which gives easy access to most parts of Bangkok a tourist would require for a week or so stay. There was only one bad feature of the room - the drainage in the toilet was poor - but this was experienced everywhere we stayed in Thailand. All in all - a highly reccommended hotel representing good value for money... I would return to the Royal Benja with no hesitation!

Royal Benja is a very good choice for Bangkok city tour as very near to skytrain and the most sites are very easy to reach from there. Rooms are very clean and comfortable also for a longer stay.

Great value for money! Big room, nice...
Great value for money! Big room, nice view & good location. 7mins walk to BTS. 3mins to 24hrs supermarket with eatery. Counter staff & bellboys are friendly. Downside is those thai massage parlours located along soi 5. Had tried a few during my stay & both me & my wife were extremely disappointed!! Reminders.. Taxi & tuk tuk are only good during the night time as Bangkok traffic are horrible in the day. Caution.. Reject politely for those taxi & tuk tuk who suggest to take you for shopping, i had that 5 years ago. Its was expensive & a waste of time.

My 1st stay with my family (total of 3 rooms). Overall is good and will absolutely stay again! Requested for a high floor room, i'm glad that they have arrange a 27th floor rooms. The room view is great! The room size is surprisely big with 1 queen size bed plus 1 single bed. But there is no safe box in the room. The bathroom is big with separate shower and bathtub but need a bit of renovation. Staffs are friendly and nice. The location is good, about 5-10 mins walk to Nana station. Massage palours, supermarket, 7-11 and supper places are all nearby. The only minus point is the boring buffet breakfast, the choices are limited.
