Silome Serene is a good place to stay...
Silome Serene is a good place to stay when you wanna be around Silom, BKK. The building is pretty small and compact as it only has 8 floors and swimming pool looks like a pond, but the room is quite big compared to chained hotels. Location of the hotel is closed to everything from the BTS, Patphong street, 711, plazas, almost everything you need. The thing that AsiaRooms missed was my request of high-floor room. I was placed in the 2nd floor above their main resto. Their selection of breakfast was pretty limited. Above all, I would recommend this place for a fourty-something-dollar hotel.

The room and the rate was very good, however, we had requested a non smoking room on a low level room overlooking the pool and with aq late check out. Non of these requests were met. The cost of a late check out from 12 noon until 7.00pm was more than the cost of staying an extra night. We were not impressed.

The service is great. I requested for high floor, non-smoking and double-bed room and all my requests were met without fail. the staffs are polite and friendly. Despite the not-so-glamorous looking appearance of the hotel located in alley, i will not hesitate to introduce Silom Serene hotel to anyone who wants to stay near the interesting Patpong shopping area. You might need to walk abit to reach BTS station but along the way, you would enjoy so much shopping spree!

First Class. Superb value for money. Staff are very friendly, facilties are excellent, food is good and value for money, excellent location. Close to Silom Road, Patpong etc yet away from the hustle and bustle. When visitng Bangkok again I will definetley be staying at the Silom Serene hotel. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Excellent value for its location, large room and friendly staff. The environment is very quiet and away from the noisy part of Silom yet within short walking distance. Highly recommended.
This is the second time I'm staying...
This is the second time I'm staying in Silom Serene hotel. Good value for money. Location is good, right where all the nite action is, so it's convenient for people who enjoy a late nite out shopping, eating, or simply having a nice drink. The staff is also friendly, and the rooms are clean, although the bathroom can do with better lighting.

We love this hotel. Its a small boutique hotel with a small cute inner garden, inner courtyard and very cute small pool. We recommend having breakfast in the garden near the pool. Seems popular with French families. Stayed 9 nights in Oct/Nov 2004. If you book via the internet,the price will be approx 40USD w bkfast. Thats a great deal. Even if you walk in the price is about 2500 Baht, about $60 USD with bkfast.
Soi Phipat looks close to Patpong. It is, but Phipat is south off Silom and really quiet. The rooms will either face Phipat or the inner courtyard and pool. We stayed in both types and they were both nice and quiet. The staff are great and friendly.
In other words, its like staying at Mom tri's boathouse on Kata beach in Phuket without the added luxury and costs.

Very nice small hotel in patong, Breakfast...
Very nice small hotel in patong, Breakfast is good[food items are not that much but quality is excellent]. 5 mins walk to BTS, Watsons, Boots, California fitness ctr.... only 20mins to airport. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is clean & the service is excellent. The hotel staff is friendly & always willing to assist. The rooms are tidy & neat, with a huge variety of TV programs too. Location is convenient and within walking distance to the Sky Train Station. I highly recommend this hotel.
