Dear frienda, as you ve already noticed, we stayed in your hotel two ( 2 ) times for 2 nights each time. We booked it through Asiarooms.com and everything was OK, the lovely people at the reception knew about our arrival. The room was on the 17th floor as we asked, big dbl bed, full fridge, air condition OK.
But it is an old hotel and it definitely needs some fixing up: a) paint the rooms inside and outside(the corridors,the stairs etc) with white or bright colors ( like beige,off white or light yellow), so it looks fresh, clean and new! Because it looks-BUT IT IS NOT- dirty and that nobody takes care. b) change the lights and put a bit stronger lamps, so it is not dark and c) fix some small things;like holes in the wall, change the wall papers- some are really dirty or have holes or are falling apart,fresh up the wooden floors and some furnitures-tables and chairs.
Be sure that in case we ever come back to Thailand-we loved this country!!- we will for sure stay in Suriwongse Tower Inn and we will tell our friends to stay there too.This hotel is in a very good location-close to the river and to Sky Train Station, easy to find a taxi!!
