The room we stayed in had a musty smell, carpet was badly stained, the top bedsheets were ripped, the tap in the basin leaked, the hotel is dated, but the room was clean. Be careful of the bathtub, it's very slippery. I fell and bruised my leg. The aircon leaked badly on the 3rd day and the carpet was soaking wet (approx 1 sq mtr). When we informed reception, the staff said they would send a technician to have a look. Not knowing how serious the problem was or how long it would take to fix the aircon, I insisted they change our room. We moved to another room across the hallway, this time the aircon didn't cool at all.
I had to call reception again and spoke to the duty manager. He said he would shift us to another room. However, I requested that he checked to make sure the aircon was working first before we moved. The last room was a small upgrade, the room was the same size as before except that the furnishing was slightly better.
There's quite a variety for breakfast, though the "fresh" buns and croissants were stale.
The staff are polite but I don't think we would stay there again.
