I was a little concerned by some of the previous reviews of this hotel, before my wife and I arrived there. Happily I needn't have been. The staff were very good. The rooms, though fairly basic, were spacious, comfortable and had the essentials. The location was extremely convenient for both SkyTrain and Metro, although beware the pavement between hotel and the stations. Trees grow through it and the roots have turned the pavement into a considerable challenge. Also note that the shortest route to the station takes you through the Soi Cowboy entertainment area, so maybe not so good for kids. The buffet breakfast was superb and the room rate very reasonable. I would definitely stay there next time I am in Bangkok.
