First of all, I would like to thanks Asia Rooms.com offering for the lowest rate at White Orchid Hotel in Bangkok,
The White Orchid Hotel have a very good location and in the heart of China Town. The Hotel Room is newly renovated with new paint, new wall paper, new floor tiles and etc. The room is big enough for twin sharing or a couple and look clean. The disappointed for the room is the centralise air-cond in some rooms is not cold enough and the shower pipe is too short in the bathroom.
The location for the Hotel is the perfect choice for the Traveller, it is very easy to find hawker food, sea food, Restorance food and the Hotel's buffer breakfast (Included in our Room rate) and buffer dinner (Optional 200 baht per pax for hotel guest) also not bad. The taxi fare to or from MBK Shopping Mall is only 100 Baht for my family (You have to negotiate before go in to the taxi). You can hiring a taxi for the whole day from the hotel for sideseeing is only cost 2000 baht.
There are a lot of wholeseller in China Town selling shoes, souvenir, beg, cap, clothing and etc. They are selling in quantity per dozen or half dozen and their price is cheaper than the Shopping Mall (Please don't forget to bargain).
Overall, we happy to stay in White Orchid Hotel and it is good value for money.
