The pictures of this hotel are very old.
Nonetheless, at first we were quite satisfied with the room (no window) we got. It was spacious and it looked pretty clean. The bathroom needs improving, faucet leaked water to both sides of the sink and the shower head hose was too short. Aircon makes a pretty loud noise and there were a couple of small cochroaches on the fridge. On the second day there was a HUGE cochroach walking around. Thin doors, you sleep next to the door so you hear everyone on the hall. Service was very good though, ringed for a hairdryer around 1 or 2 am and they brought it right up to the room. So was the laundry service, you paid per piece but they wash, iron and even hang it up in the closet for you. They have 2 computers for the internet which is pretty slow for the price you have to pay and I think they keep the aircon on it's max there. It's in the middle of busy Chinatown, you can easily take a tuk-tuk or cab to any other part of Bangkok, just know how much the ride is about worth and demand it, if they don't agree then go on to the next one. They usually double if not triple the price.
Cab is best when they use the meter.
