Cheap Hotel, location is right in the...
Cheap Hotel, location is right in the heart of Chinatown. We stayed in the old section so it's very old, water leaks from upper flour ceiling. Everything is very old, dirty and ugly. But they're doing renovation right now, I guess it will be ok when they're done. Service..We had called for more bath towls and even toilet papers almost every day. But the price is right US$21 per night and the location is excellent.

the renovation of the room and building...
the renovation of the room and building is too old especially the ceiling of the toilet is look like falling down. receptionist was not polite and no smiling!

The room was very basic and nothing...
The room was very basic and nothing like the photos they advertise. The location however is rather central I suppose, on a busy road, where there are plenty of local food to eat out on the street if that's your thing.

The hotel location is ideal as we...
The hotel location is ideal as we were close to all shopping and street stalls. The fridays buffet dinner is good and cheap.The only inconvenience is that Airport Bus No:4 does not have a very regular & frequent service to this Chinatown location.

3 days stay. This is the 3rd...
3 days stay. This is the 3rd time that I stay in White Orchid Hotel Good location with 7 eleven & Watson downstair. Good service from Chamber maid at 9th Floor. When I requested for extra pillow case & towel, the chamber maid sent to my room in less than 15 min. Facilities is fair. 3 computers at the lobby area is not enough. Waited quite long before other users ended their session. After 12pm, internet service is not available. These computers are slow and always hang when I'm using. The television in my room is also quite old and most of the channel images is not clear.

We are very pleased to stay in...
We are very pleased to stay in White Orchid as we have stays there more than 6 times but only the main thing are the breakfast...Its like everyday the same old things and sure need a change and most likely we still prefer a few kinds of meat to be serve.

We have booked a deluxe room, room...
We have booked a deluxe room, room is spacious and on the ninth floor. The elevator takes ages to reach the first or to the ninth floor, and the lift can only takes the weight of the most like 5 adults. The location of the hotel is quite far from the train station about 15mins but there are many eating place all over the area. If you are a seafood lover you should have chose to stay in chinatown. The hotel is located along the main road which enable us to flag a taxi easily. Breakfast was good and has got many varieties to chose from. Staff are nice. Chose this hotel if you just want a place to sleep and it is very budget.
