Myself and my girlfriend stayed here on 2 separate occasions,pre-booked of course, based on the pictures on this website (i know it says that these pictures are not meant be taken literally) but the rooms were in the need of redecoration and not pictures of the rooms we stayed in.
First leg of staying there, the room was horrible, old and the bathroom unclean. We didnt complain because you do get what you pay for. The food is not much, breakfast was just fruit and noodles and also rice with the choice of eggs.
second leg our room did improve it was recently renovated (maybe 5 years, and only becasue we paid extra for decent room) but the bathroom was still on the unclean side. In the space of 3 weeks the breakfast choice was of the same.
Little bit about chinatown, its smelly and for some, like myself and partner found it hard to stomach. But every one is different and it is a fantastic place to stay. Cool little shops and places to visit.
Would not go back to this hotel, nor reccommend it. Its cheap and central thats the good point.
