I have stayed at White Palace hotel for most of our trips – We have travelled to Bangkok 3 times and loved the people and the food. The service at White Palace was great. The breakfast was also nice. We are travelling there again in 2 weeks and we will be staying there again. The rooms are a getting a little old but for the location and price you can not complain.

The White Palace Hotel is a good value for money hotel close to all the shopping areas. friendly staff rooms a good size, only one critisism could do with proper toaster at breakfast.

Room was very nice, bigger than expected, comfortable, clean. A/C worked very well. Staff was for the most part amicable, but laundry lady was extremely rude. Breakfast mostly inedible, but why eat breakfast there when there's so much good food in Bangkok?
Only problem we had was location - it is about a 15 minute walk to the nearest Skytrain station. None of the maps of the White Palace hotel we could find online could tell us about its distance from the train, so this is important if you are a first time visitor. In the extremely hot Bangkok weather, it's a long walk, and the side street on which the hotel is located is also completely clogged with traffic, so it adds a lot of transit time if you have a limited stay in Bangkok.

Stayed at White Palace Hotel in Bangkok for a week. Pricewise not too bad. Location good, close to Pratunam market, walking distance to Pratunam Centre, Big C and World Trade Centre. Surprisingly taxi drivers sometimes unaware of the hotel's location. Be careful with the tuk-tuk drivers at the hotel, they will try their best to divert you to the gem store in return for a free fuel coupon of course.. would grade this hotel higher if they improve their services... by the 2nd day their laundry machine broke down and it seem there is no urgency in solving the problem coz until we checked out on the 7th day the machine was still out of service... no tel directory and writing materials in the room, breakfast was not bad but I would suggest if they try different variety each day (menu the same everyday) One occassion the front office staff misplaced my room key although I insist and very sure that I have left it with them they refuse to believe me until we opened my room with spare key to proof that I didn't left the key inside. The staff attitude not that bad but seem they are biased to Europeans.. very WRONG.. coz I paid for my stay....I hope this comment goes to the hotel management..

It was a very nice quiert hotel although near to shoppingcenter. We enjoid living there. Nice people and helpful too. OK for a child age 11. He loved the swimmingpool at top of the building and the breakfast. Close to a busy marked and World Trade Center. You can walk to boath.

great value,definitely the most underrated district in bkk,nice and quiet,close to everything,friendly laid back staff,very comfortable.Its hard to believe the busy pratunam mrkt is only 2 mins walk away.
