This was my first holiday with my 3-month old baby so I was concerned that the Met would be too chic and snobby for us. Oh, I was so wrong! The staff were very friendly and absolutely showered the baby with smiles and waves. This is a medium-sized hotel, yet much of the time there we felt we were the only guests as it has the feel of a much smaller and more intimate hotel. The food we had was amazing and the breakfast at 'Glow' was out of this world! I also really enjoyed the treatments in the spa and the complimentary yoga classes with the wonderful Pat.
If I had one negative comment, I would say the bedrooms are looking a little past their prime and the cover on our bed had stains on it of dubious origin.
However, overall it was a fabulous hotel to stay in, and while it is not near anything, it is not far from EVERYTHING!
