The newly renovated lobby and pool area look nice and modern, but the moment you enter the rooms, you are transported back to Bangkok Budget Hotel land. Albeit clean, the rooms have bear minimum amenities and old furniture.
Taking a shower could be a bit of a challenge, as you try to catch the 90degree water spray, due to the poorly installed shower.
Be prepared to walk, as Soi Nana is one way, leading to the main road. Hence the hotel is not so suitable for the elderly or people with problems walking. Taking a taxi to the hotel might be a bit tricky, as on several occasions, we were dropped of at the end of the Soi and had to walk the 15minutes to the hotel.
