bad surprise
I waited 35 minutes to go in my room,
the receptionist wanted to charge me an extra night because I had changed my dates with you,
the room smelled of cigrettes when I was asked odorless,
the room had no intimate separation between the toilet and the bed,
the sheets were all stained.
I think it is necessary to review your comments about this hotel.
I will never return to this hotel.

Get what you pay for !
Room dirty and poorly furnished with old torn furniture. Staff incompetent rather than rude - took 3 goes to get my keycard programmed correctly. Bathroom old and dirty but good hot water + pressure.If you just want somewhere to rest your head for the night it's ok. 1 night maximum stay and even then, there's better alternatives out there i'm sure.

5D4N stay at UNICO Express
Hotel lift is quite small. Lobby is small but looks quite presentable. There's a pool but is very small so it is quite useless. Room size is average but looks very plain and does not look very comfy, but does not matter much if you're going out for the entire day till late. Bathroom is clean with bathtub, sink is too small and the shelf used to hold toiletries should be placed to the side or somewhere else instead of above the sink as it gets in the way when washing up. Floor has no carpet and does not provide room slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, razor and shaving cream. There is some sort of night market and bars/pubs near the hotel and hotel is walking distance from Central World shopping mall. Will stay again if on budget trip.

Watch out Minibar Charges
We've checked in for 3 nights during our trip to Sukhumvit. During the check-in time, the guy at reception counter is very friendly. The hotel is about 25 minutes walk from the BTS station. Ideal place for Halal Food but not a great place for pork lovers.
The food and massage service (300baht to 500baht per hour) around here are more pricey than other places (from 150baht onwards) and not suitable for budget travellers.
When checking out from the hotel, the receptionist informed that we consumed 2 bottles of Mineral water & 1 can of beer whereby we only had a mineral water. Being unhappy with it although it's not a big amount, we've informed the receptionist we didn't had 2 bottles of mineral water and no beer. After walkie-talkie chat in Thai with the housekeeping, she informed us that only 2 bottles of minreal water. We were upset and refused to pay for the 1 bottle of mineral water which nobody consumed. She then said 'It's ok sir, I will pay for your mineral water'. To us, that's an insult & rather rude and will never stay there anymore. I also found out that my friends paid for 2 bottles mineral water which they didn't consumed... This hotel is disorganized during guest check-out time.
