This hotel is well-located and so this...
This hotel is well-located and so this is also a drawback because street is very noisy. If your room is face to this street, this is impossible to sleep until 3 or 4 in the morning! Pool is not not so nice because it is impossible to relax around it (no relax chair).

This was a lovely hotel, right in...
This was a lovely hotel, right in the heart of where a tourist would want to be in Bangkok. 1 block away from all the nightlife without any noise and walking distance to all attractions. Our room was huge and spotlessly clean. Desk staff were lovely and helpful. Don't use the taxi service in the lobby though - they are expensive. When we walked away from them though, suddenly the price halved!

Viengtai is a clean, no fuss hotel...
Viengtai is a clean, no fuss hotel for the budget minded traveler. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and spacious. Considering how close it is to Khao San Rd the noise is minimal. They have a pool which is always a bonus in Bangkok and they also do luggage storage for a small daily fee if you are heading north as I was. The food however is definitely better on the street than in restaurant so give that food a miss if you are staying. Overall though a great hotel and good value for money.

i loved this hotel, it was in...
i loved this hotel, it was in the best location and it was so nice and clean. i will definately stay here again! the pool is big and really nice and the rooms are well decorated and clean (they get cleaned everyday).

My stay was ok, the service we got was great, clean place to stay, location is fantastic right around the corner for Khao San Road and other stuff. Interior needs to be renovated, little out dated.

although it is fine enough, facilities seem from 70s, and carpet definitelly needs to be changed. Apart from that, area is great if you are interested in party.

Great rooms very clean and comfortable we had a deluxe at the back of the hotel very quiet. Breakfast ok. Staff friendly and helpfull. Great location if you want to be close to everything about 15 mins walk to the river excellent to get about to see everything without sitting in traffic, also very cheap. Right next to Kosan Road lots of shops restaurants and bars. Close to Temples The Palace ect.

Great location and clean and adequate hotel....
Great location and clean and adequate hotel. Disappointed by service a little due to breakfast only being avilable until 9.30am and also mini bar issue. That is, the hotel will not allow you to drink/eat items and replace them as they put their own price tags on items. This would not be a problem if they alerted you to this before checkout. We had already replaced items and then had to pay again at lobby desk.
