This hotel's best feature is it's location, which is in central Bangkok. it is just one street over from Khaosan road, so it is easy to go over and join in the Khaosan fun, but it is a big step upward in room and hotel quality from the backpacker fleapits on Khaosan. The breakfast is as good as any I've had in Thailand,(the restaurant is also good for other meals), the staff are friendly and helpful, and I found the room to be clean and decent, but just a little on the old side. If you don't expect the Marriot for $50 a night, you will be quite content here ... but if you are the kind who searches for something to whinge about instead of enjoying your holiday, then you might find something like the carpet is a touch on the old side. I have stayed here before and will again, as it is handy for the Skytrain, river taxi, and most of central Bangkok.Relax and enjoy this midrange hotel in a great location.
