Brilliant escape from the chaos of Bangkok
We are a family of 5 with 3 kids aged 14, 12 and 9 years. We had real trouble trying to find a good place to stay that did not involve a two room booking. The Bandara has a family room that accommodated all of us in comfort with heaps of space and two bathrooms. The pool is wonderful and the hotel is very well located with great proximity to food and both the subway and skytrain networks a 10 minute walk away. The hotel has foreign exchange at the front desk (very handy) and the included all you can eat buffet breakkies were awesome! Did not have to eat again until dinner (and with a 14 year old boy that is a real bonus). Staff perfectly willing to write things for us in Thai which we could just hand to taxi drivers - took the stress out of everything, and metered taxis very cheap (a $45 trip in Australia costs about $3-5 AUD). All in all, we couldn't have been happier with Bandara.
